Violence Is Not the Answer...Or Is It?

The Right News received the following email which we feel represents a large portion of Americans attitudes at this time in our history.  One day, we just may wake up and find out that our country has been taken away by those in Washington.

Now first off, I am not trying to incite violence. I do have a question though. Why are these politicians surprised when desperate stripped people fight back the only way they can.

These politicians live in their ivory towers, surrounded by police, private security, and their teams of bulldog lawyers while they dictate how every common man and woman should live their lives.

When they implement laws that negatively effect people, it makes sense for people to get pissed. These pissed off citizens can respond in 1 of 2 ways.

1. Diplomatically, we can make phone calls, faxes, emails, organize town hall meetings all in opposition of these treasonous acts and what do OUR elected representatives do? They ignore us or even worse, try to spin everything we say into nutjob gibberish resulting in nothing. If in fact someone is actually successful in challenging them, the team of bulldog attorneys and endless funds only solidifies their decisions. It's a lose/lose situation.

2. Violence. This is the option that is funny to me. I was listening to the radio today and they were talking about the congressman who's BBQ tank propane line was cut. They began going on and on and on about how horrible violence is and how it is never justified. What's so funny about it? These people have effectively bogged the system so far down in BS, that the average person will never have a chance at undoing the damage they have done. Desperate people snap when they have nothing to lose and these politicians are surprised when people react with the only thing they got left?

I have never been the type of person to think the sky is falling, but I am worried for the first time in my life that things are going to unravel. Desperate people who have nothing to lose are going to snap more and more and there won't be a thing anyone can do about it. These politicians who refused to listen to the people who voted them in office are going to become the targets through their own doing, and the whole time they are going to complain that it isn't justified. Well, if they had listened in the first place, people wouldn't have had to resort to violence. It will be their own fault and it's going to be scary to watch.

I sure hope I'm wrong, but what else can be effective against teams of attorneys and endless money other than violence?

Vote em out in November? Yeah right, like the new ones voted in will be any different? What then?

Scary times we live in.
